MARKETING COORDINATOR

 

Summary Description

 

To market the Seabury At Home program as a comprehensive package of coordinated long-term care services for seniors who prefer to stay in their own home as they age.  This involves educating the greater community and prospects about Life Care, benefits of the Seabury At Home program, and Seabury’s reputation and expertise in successful aging.  It includes developing effective advertising, marketing campaigns and disseminating information throughout the Seabury At Home service area to produce a prospect base which will grow membership in the program.

 

 Requirements

 

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or equivalent.

 

2+ years related experience, preferred.

 

Knowledge of senior care services, particularly Life Care communities, preferred.

 

Knowledge of Long Term Care insurance and policies, preferred.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid math skills, and effective organizational skills.

 

Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter.

The Connecticut Association for Home Care & Hospice seeks a RN licensed in the state of Connecticut with a Master's Degree in Business, Education, Nursing, Public Health or an allied field preferred.

 

Candidate must have 5-10 years progressive clinical experience, strong public speaking, organization and writing skills, as well as working knowledge of home care licensure rules and third party payment issues.  Working knowledge of hospice a plus.

 

The position will report to the President & CEO and will 1.) play a lead role on selected regulatory & policy issues  2) serve as a clinical resource to members  3) provide staff support to Special Interest Groups and select committees  4)  serve as content expert on hospice issues and  5) assist the development of curricula for educational programming.

 

This position will be part of a reorganized staff structure.

We are currently recruiting for a Vice President for Long Term Care Administration.

This position provides leadership, direction and administration of operations to ensure compliance with established objectives and the realization of quality, economical health care services.   

 

Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s Degree preferred. 5-10 years previous managerial/supervisory experience in health administration is required. State of Connecticut-Long Term Care, Administrator license – REQUIRED.

Opening available for a full-time Administrator of a 22-bed Licensed Skilled Nursing Home and 24-bed Residential Care Home within the retirement facility of Roman Catholic Sisters in northeastern CT.

 

Applicant must have a Connecticut SNF license, with some related experience preferred.  S/he must have strong administrative and organizational skills, must have a collaborative work style, and be an excellent communicator.  S/he must have a good understanding of the aging process, and must enjoy relating and working with the elderly.
