Welcome to the home page of the Connecticut Association of Not-for-profit Providers For the Aging (CANPFA). CANPFA represents the Not-for-profit difference in long-term care. We have more than 130 provider members and 55 business affiliate members. Our provider members include not-for-profit nursing homes, residential care homes, subsidized senior housing, adult day centers, home health care agencies, assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities. They care for more than 15,000 seniors in their facilities and in the community. About 10,000 full and part-time employees work for our member organizations. Our website also serves as the home page for the Connecticut Association of Adult Day Centers (CAADC) and the Institute for Long-Term Care Policy. Each site contains useful information about the activities of each organization, including legislative updates; news; lists of members; programs, services and projects; directions to our offices; publications; and links to other useful sites. There is also a separate page devoted to consumer issues and interests.
