Qualidigm, Connecticut’s Quality Improvement Organization

Qualidigm has contracted with CMS to facilitate statewide improvements in nursing home quality. Qualidigm has been involved in QI activities for years and offers unique expertise to nursing home providers.
American Medical Directors Association

AMDA offers a certification program for long-term care medical directors, detailed explanations of nursing home quality measures for consumers, and continuing education for medical directors and attending
physicians.

CMS is the federal agency charged with regulatory oversight of nursing homes. CMS has recently launched a broad-based consumer disclosure program for the quality of health services, including nursing home care.
